International Scientific Conference „Architecture-Utopia-Realism“

Faculty of Architecture has organized international scientific conference “ARCHITECTURE – UTOPIA – REALISM” at the Amphitheatre of the Faculty of Architecture (Bulevar kralja Aleksandra 73, 2nd floor, Belgrade), October 3-4, 2013.

The proposed theme aimed to further the on-going discussion on the relations of architecture with realism and utopia. In that sense, the speakers reflected on a multivalent relations of practices and theory of avant-garde, modern and contemporary architecture to concepts and issues, such as utopianism, realism, social realism, socialist realism, neo-realism, utopian realism, new realism and the like. The event was followed by the exhibition “IVAN LEONIDOV: PROJECTS” at the Exhibition Hall of the Faculty of Architecture, also on the 2nd floor of the building (October 3rd, 19:00).
